Wonyoung Yoo is Vice president, Head of division 3 and Life Science team. Wonyoung brings over 25 years of experience across whole value chain for biological medicine development. He joins Samsung ventures from Samsung BioEpis where he was lead for Program management, Corporate planning, Corporate innovation, and Cell development. As a founding member of BioEpis, he served as a principal scientist for Program management and a group leader focusing on Biosimilar development. He previously worked as a scientist developing Biobetter, Artificial skin and IVD (in vitro diagnostics) at Dong-A pharmaceutical. Wonyoung holds Bachelor and Master of science for Biology from Seoul National University. He received his Ph. D. from Sungkyunkwan university in Pharmacology.
