Jihong joined Samsung Ventures in 2012 and focuses on investments in AI, software, services and robotics. Prior to Samsung Ventures, he worked as a research analyst at a hedge fund (SFG), in investment banking (HSBC, JMP), and in management consulting (PwC). He began his career as a software engineer at Lucent Technologies and was an early team member at startups including nDosa and CommASIC (acquired by Freescale). Jihong holds an MBA and a BS in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
